STAROFIT machines buttwelding fittings and produces custom turned parts according to the applicable standards (EN, DIN, ASME), and of course also according to any special requirements you may have – quickly and to an exceptionally high standard of quality.

Elbows and fittings according to customer requirements

We can machine elbows and fittings at short notice in our machining centre directly in accordance with customer requirements:

  • Pre-processing and taper boring of elbows and buttwelding fittings with an outer diameter of up to 610.0 mm
  • Cutting of elbows in any required degree value (e.g. 30°; 45°; 60°, etc.)
  • End machining in accordance with standard (e.g. ISO 9692-1, DIN 2559 parts 1+2; ASME B 16.25)
  • Machining according to drawing or customer specifications

As STAROFIT is a TÜV-approved manufacturer according to ISO 9001, the AD 2000 specification sheet W0* and PED 2014/68/EU**, its products can be installed in systems subject to compulsory monitoring.

Special fittings made of solid materials

Is the product you require not available from stock? Products can be quickly fabricated – even for unusual requests – thanks to our extensive buffer stock of steel bars and blanks.

Our fabrication and pre-processing activities currently encompass the following areas:

  • Reducers (concentric and eccentric) made of solid material
  • Tees made of solid material or forged blanks
  • Caps made of solid material
  • Crosses made of solid material
  • Lateral tees made of solid material
  • Customised turned parts made of solid material as per customer drawings up to 480 mm dia.
  • Threaded fittings made of pipe or solid material

We stock countless special sizes and materials in the STAROFIT pipe warehouse to use as semi-finished materials for the manufacture of fittings.

TÜV and PED-approved as a matter of course!

We only supply steel bars and pipes from TÜV and PED-approved manufacturers based in the EU with EN 10204-3.1 or 3.2 TÜV acceptance test certificate in accordance with the applicable AD (working group for pressure vessels in Germany) specification sheets.
