Founded in 1975 by Rüdiger Klose, STAROFIT Klose GmbH & Co. KG is a reliable partner in the pipe trade. Our focus is on warehousing and the worldwide distribution of high-quality elbows and welded fittings made of steel and stainless steel.

For almost 50 years, STAROFIT has stood for quality, expertise and delivery capability. Through a consistent “policy of full stocks”, we create significant market advantages and the ability to act for our customers. Our fittings are always available from our own stock and orders placed before 14:00 are dispatched on the same day.

Our products are used worldwide in areas requiring monitoring in plant, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and power plant construction as well as in chemical plants, steel construction and the petrochemical industry. They withstand extreme temperatures, high pressures and aggressive media with ease. As an internationally oriented company, our pipe fittings meet international requirements and standards in accordance with DIN, EN and ASME.

On an area of 70,000 m² in Ganderkesee near Bremen, we store a variety that is unique in the industry: our elbows and fittings are available in over 50,000 different dimensions and more than 100 different materials, from standard designs to custom-made products with extreme wall thicknesses. A strict incoming goods inspection ensures the quality of the products in stock. In the STAROFIT machining center, we can also produce tailor-made special fittings for individual requirements and needs within a very short time.

Our customers want to be well advised and receive expert answers to their questions – and we are happy to oblige! The particularly intensive STAROFIT incoming goods inspection ensures the first-class quality of the stored products. Continuous training ensures that our employees are always up to date with the latest standards, materials, safety and regulations. Customer-oriented action and innovative solutions are just as much a matter of course for us and our team today as they were on the day the company was founded.

1975
Founder Rüdiger Klose lays the foundation stone in Ganderkesee with the first rented warehouse in Ganderkesee-Bürstel.
1979
Construction and inauguration of the first own warehouse with 600 m².
1981
New administration building and start of training for young specialists.
1991
Expansion to 2,000 m² of storage space and construction of a high-bay warehouse.
1994
DNV certification according to ISO 9002.
2000
25 years of STAROFIT – celebrations and expansion to 8,000 m² with an automatic small parts warehouse.
2001
Certification to AD 2000-W0 and PED 97/23/EC, introduction of our machining center.
2004
Acquisition of a 30,000 m² neighboring property with direct access to Güterstraße.
2007
New warehouse with 9,000 m² floor space is built.
2013
Operating area expanded to an impressive 70,000 m².
2018
Office space expanded by a generous 450 m².
2019
