50 Years of STAROFIT
This weekend, STAROFIT celebrated its 50th company anniversary. On Friday, Managing Directors Christopher Klose and Kai Beecken, together with their employees, welcomed over 150 customers and business partners from around the world.
An event team had created an impressive atmosphere in-between pipe fittings in the large “Elly Halle”. At the company’s headquarters in Ganderkesee, the lifetime achievement of the recently deceased founder Rüdiger Klose was honored and celebrated. “He would have wanted it this way!” noted Christopher Klose in his speech, thanking everyone for the decades of trustful cooperation. “Without you, and without our service-oriented and highly skilled employees, we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
The STAROFIT team also took the opportunity to thank the Management for their courage and trust by presenting a mosaic made up of over 1,100 photos from the past 50 years. “It’s amazing that you have taken on the responsibility for our great company.”
The keynote speech was delivered by futurologist Tristan Horx, who provided inspiration for entrepreneurial thinking. Under the motto “globally connected, locally rooted”, international encounters took place that day in a relaxed atmosphere with great food.
The following Saturday, employees and their families were invited to a day full of entertainment. In specially designated “Action Areas,” bouncy castles and a BMX course were explored. Creative activities such as graffiti and singing were also offered. Managing Director Kai Beecken gave an overwhelmingly positive summary: “An unforgettable event that will remain a good memory for a long time.”
